Weekly Message 12/2-12/8

It feels I am still in November, but the last month of the year, December, just started.

It is still Shadow phase of Mercury Retrograde technically, but, I feel much smoother than week before.

And, when I tune into this month, then, I already see lots of fireworks in the sky over some river.

So, I believe that many of us can have some festive weeks toward next year.

Well, of course, usually before close this year, it is busier than other months and everything moves quite quickly.

So, let’s just tighten your seatbelt and follow the speed.

The message I got for this week is “let’s check what you have achieved this year so far to prepare for new phase of your life.”

Achievement does not need to be really big thing.

We should find something we have achieved in our regular life.

Such as started meditation and keep meditating since you started, changed your diet healthier to maintain your health, back to school to learn something you wanted to study, maybe you got baby, or your kids graduated from schools, or you got some better job, or quit your job to start living your own life etc.

You can find something like this more than you think.

If you can find your achievements, you will realize how you are blessed.

And, you can also find something you want to achieve next.

Doing this also will find your passion again and you also might find your lost dreams.

So, let’s try to write down what we achieve this year.

Weekly Message 9/16-9/22

The full moon last week was intense, I believe especially for some water signs.

But, hope you released many feelings and emotions no longer serve you.

The message I got for this week is “Imagine what you wanna do and who you wanna be. Everything is energy. So, imagine that you are who you wanna be, then, it will bring you where you wanna be.”

I believe many people know many athletes do image training to achieve highest potential of them.

So, imagine what you wanna do and who you wanna be.

And, feel it.

How would you feel when you achieve a goal you dream about?

What would you do when you do what you wanna do?

Imagine and feel the feelings you would have.

Focus the feelings you would have or you wanna feel.

Imagine where you wanna go for vacations or relocate.

And, feel it.

Everything is energy.

When you could have the same energy of what you wanna be, or who you wanna be, then, you will be.

If you wanna be happier, then, imagine when you are happy.

It is ok that you are sad or depressed when you are. Feel them, too.

But, once you feel them, imagine little bit brighter thing to focus.

This week, please use power of imagination to reach your goals.

Be yourself 

People often say we have to be ourselves, be authentic etc.

Yes, we should be.

But, I feel many people are confused difference between what being authentic and be selfish. 

We always should respect others even being yourselves.

We always compassionate others and kind to others even when you are authentic.

Being yourselves does not mean you can hurt others or disrespect them, or treat like doormat.

I believe being yourself is more like treating you as you.

Saying no to others when you feel unconfortanle, or not put you into some boxs that labled you as like typical something or someone like typical some nationality, mom or dad or someone’s expectations.

We have to know the difference between being your self and being selfish.

People who think they can do whatever they do tend to they do not really care about others.

But, this is not what people say be yourself.

We always have to respect others and ourselves.

I believe this is fundamental of any type of relationship including with yourself.

Japanese Sweets

Matcha has been becoming great trend in outside of Japan now, and I want you to try some of Japanese sweets with it when you are here in Japan, or some of them are really easy to make, so please make them by yourself for you and your family.

Japanese sweets are thought as healthy sweets, since ingredients are red and white bean pastes, rice, Agar, beans, kudzu, yam, etc.

Yes, less fat and more fibers than cake, cookie, chocolate…

And, if you look for gluten free desserts, then Japanese sweets are good for you.

Some Japanese sweets are made with flour, but many of them are not.

But, yes, lots of sugar as same as other desserts, so just be careful when you eat them even they are yummy and healthier. 🙂

Warabi Mochi is for summer time and texture is quite unique that between mochi and jelly.

You can enjoy matcha and Japanese sweets with beautiful garden at tea house in some traditional Japanese gardens.

Anmitsu is like Japanese parfeit.

Sakura mochi is for spring desert, and there are eastern and western style. Western style is made by sticky rice, and eastern style is made by flour looks like crape. The leaf is salted cherry’s leaf.

Kudzu kiri is good for himid and hot summer that brings freshness to you.

Joyo Manju is like steamed ban made by yam and inside is lots of bean paste. Yam makes texture mor moist.

Organic Vegetable Cake-Potager-

I love cake, but I also want to think healthy life style and healthy eating habit.
So, if I can find some guilty free cake, I am happy. 🙂
And here is the cafe where you can eat organic vegetable cake.
As you can imagine, ingredients are organic vegetables, such as carrot, tomato, pumpkin, avocado, ginger etc.

Some cakes taste really veggies, but some are not.
So, if you are interested and in Tokyo area, please try. 🙂
